Heritage day Celebration.
South Africa is well known for its cultural diversity, ethnicity, language, and lifestyle. The month of September is observed as Heritage and Tourism Month. South Africans celebrate the 24th of September by wearing their traditional attires, representing their different cultures. Traditional dishes are prepared and shared among different tribes.
Music and Dance is one of the distinctive ways used by different tribes to display and represent their culture. President Cyril Ramphosa urged South Africans to join in the #JerusalemChallange as a way to celebrate the Country’s diversity.
This is the first time in South Africa celebrating this day under a global pandemic. The Covid-19 Statistics in the country shows what a united South Africa is capable of achieving.

I also question the existence of heritage day and the message it might inadvertently promote:
I mean for myself I find it quite puzzling kutsi in an Africa country we have to have certain days where we celebrate our being 🤷🏿♂️. Isn’t this “heritage” embedded in our identify 🤷🏿♂️? at least somewhere outside Africa bona they can have heritage day to celebrate “African culture “But for us, heritage day should be an everyday thing 🤷🏿♂️

“My favorite South African culture is the Venda culture. They are socialized in an extraordinary way from birth. Above all the moral values are on the other level. I have seen all in SA and I still think there is no other culture full of respect and good moral values like the Venda people. Above all the food they are trained to eat is full of life, I have a friend who survived the worst attacks of covid-19 and pneumonia using herbs delivered from that side. And lastly, you can not take the Venda culture out of a Venda person.”
