Mamelodi Sundowns wins a case against Siwelele in the Court of Arbitration.
Mamelodi Sundowns remain the Nedbank Cup champions, this comes after winning a court battle that threatened their championship title. The Mamelodi side added a suspended player’s name on the teamsheet, even though the player did not play the game.
SAFA handled the matter in the court of arbitration, to fasten the judgment under Advocate Gcina Malindi.
Mamelodi Sundowns won the case against Siwelele, the judge indicated that Bloemfontein Celtics, should have reported the matter 30 minutes before the start of the match.
The ruling set aside the referral book, which is the NSL handbook.
It is still unclear if Sundowns will pay for their sins.
Bloemfontein Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco said they have accepted the ruling and will not appeal.
Mamelodi Sundowns can now officially celebrate their domestic treble!

"I'm disappointed with the @OfficialPSL Prosecutor Nande Becker. When it come to other teams he becomes a Lion but when it comes to @Masandawana he becomes a cat" –@Bloem_Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco @robertmarawa #MSW
