Highlands Park officially sold.
Highlands park‘s co-owner, Sinky Mnisi, who owned 20% of the team, attempted to stop the purchase of the team. He argued the fact that he wasn’t alerted by club’s co-owners Brad Kaftel and Larry Brookstone about the club’s financial challenges, hence the need to sell the status.
Mnisi took the matter to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) executive committee.
PSL lawyer Michael Murphy said that the transfer of business cannot be approved due to the absence of the signature of Sinky Mnisi as a third partner. Something that contrasts section 112 of the Companies Act.
The Trio seems to have finally reached an agreement of selling the club to TS Galaxy.
The crowned 2019 Nedbank Cup Champions after beating Kaizer Chiefs, TS Galaxy will keep their Mpumalanga identity and will play their home games at Mbombela Stadium.
