The Kwazulu Natal Department of Education is probing investigations regarding the alleged bullying that took place in Mathole High School.
In a video that has since gone viral, a bullied school learner from KZN can be seen pulled by her underwear while kicked on the face by the perpetrator. The bullies continued with the inhuman act even though a learner tried to stop the attack.
The bullies were suspended from school. meanwhile the KZN department of Education said it has launched an official investigation on what transpired in the incident. Affected learners will be offered Counselling support.
Bullying in South Africa is a serious issue, according to Safer schools almost 3.2 Million kids are bullied in schools. 52% referring to Verbal Abuse and 22% referring to physical bullying and most of them don’t usually report such matters because they fear anything will change.
