India’s rain season continues to demolish infrastructure.
At least 10 fatalities have been reported following a Triple-storey collapse at Bhiwandi near Mumbai.
Local news reported that the 43-year-old Jhilani Building collapsed in the early hours of Monday morning. Nearly 25 people are said to be trapped under the building.
A team of 40 Emergency services and 30 rescue team personnel are already at the scene, searching through to find survivors.
So far 30 people have been rescued by the National Disaster Response Force(NDRF), meanwhile 20 were rescued by local residents after the collapse.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his distress over the collapse of the building and vowed to assist all affected.
India is used to such incidents, during this time of the year heavy rainfalls and floods demolish old infrastructures. It’s only been a month since a building collapsed on the Western side of India killing 13 people leaving and 18 severely injured.
