South Africa’s Covid-19 statistics daily infections dropped since the Coronavirus wave passed and warmer conditions approached
South Africa has been recording a decline in the number of new infections. To date the country recorded an additional number of 845 of new infections in the last 24 hour circle bringing the total number of infections to 639 362. The national death toll has surpassed the 15 000 benchmark of fatalities, an additional 115 number of Coronavirus related deaths were recorded over the last 24 hour circle. The Western Cape province remains with the highest death toll at 3974. Meanwhile the recovery rate increased to 88.6%, more 566,555 people have recovered in South Africa.
The African Coronavirus statistics is increasing in a light pace. The Infection rate is currently over 1.3 Million cases. The death toll increased to 31,522, more than 1,045,252 people have recovered.
South Africa is leading the African statistics with 639,362 in second place Egypt 100,041 cases, Morocco 73,780, Nigeria 55,160, Ethiopia 59,648, and Algeria 46,653.
To date 27 256 723 infections have been recorded globally. The death toll is standing at 891 308 however 18 251 538 people have recovered.
