Shocking loss in the ANC.
The country woke up to sad news today, The governing party ANC released an official statement on the untimely passing of the former Western Cape Provincial secretary Songezo ”Madiba” Mjongile.
According to the ANC’s statement, he was diagnosed with Colonal Cancer.
He spent most of his life working tirelesly for the people of South Africa. He was provincial leader of the Congress of South African Students(COSAS) and was later appointed as the organisation’s national president.
He made headlines when he was involved in a R350,000 scandal affiliated with the late Brett Kebble. He was also involved in a social media war with Telecomunications Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams. ANC member Songezo published a list of the top 6 ANC members who will take over from Jacob Zuma’s cabinet. Stella-Ndabeni Responded with outrage,however the ”beef” was settled.
In the official statement the ANC said he was working in transformation of the governing party.
